About us
International Cooperation is a central international division of Palacký University Olomouc (UP), which further consists of individual offices, i.e. Office for Partnerships, Office for Mobility, and Welcome Office.
Within this framework,Internationalisation Division provides information and pieces of instruction related to partnerships, to the study and traineeship mobility, to funding options for students and staff alike. Office for Mobility is the key central coordinator for the Erasmus+ programme, which provides information about exchange programmes within the European Union, UP interuniversity collaboration and other national, international and global programmes as well. It also supports Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships, where UP has been coordinating multiple significant European consortia within the scope of Erasmus+ KA2 projects.
In 2018 and 2019, the Division for International Cooperation coordinated the process of Monitoring the Internationalization of Czech Higher Education (MICHE) at UP and now participates in the UP Internationalization Strategy 2021+ agenda. It also deals with UP's involvement in international associations such as EUA, Aurora, Magna Carta etc.
The newly emerging Welcome Office contributes to the development of comprehensive services for current and future visitors from abroad to Palacký University. It is one of the first points of contact for future foreign students, academic staff and visitors to the Palacký University and it provides them with information about their stay not only at the university, but also in Olomouc.
The Division for International Cooperation creates a place at the university for intercultural meeting and cooperation of people from different countries of the world.
At each faculty, you will find International Offices and coordinators who take care of the affairs of individual faculties.
